Dinner was so good! We stopped in and picked up the chicken (cooked perfect and moist) and fried catfish (great coating and cooked perfect). The sides were all a hit too. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order on the fried items. I hope you visit them and they stay around for a while!

What a treat!! This place is brand spanking new here in Douglasville and offers a great variety of edible delicacies. Not only is it family owned but it’s Black owned which was awe inspiring to see. I am vegan, and for us there are various vegetable selections to eat, although I’d like a Mac and cheese option as well! They do have vegan desserts, including Red Velvet and Mandarin Orange cupcakes. So far I’ve tasted only the Mandarin Orange which was absolutely delicious. It’s not overly sweet, which I thought it might be, it’s just the best touch of sweetness with a great cake that I devoured within moments! They were pretty much 5 bucks each and they also serve them in packs of 6. You also can order Red Velvet to be made for pick up as they were not readily available.

Nice little soul food spot. Great customer service, very welcoming. Food was good, I ordered the lemon pepper whitening and coleslaw. And my wife ordered fried shrimp and mac and cheese. The only thing that I don't like was the coleslaw. It was dry, not enough coleslaw dressing in it. And the red velvet cake was not moist at all, and cornbread to sweet for me,but it was my first time, and I would go back again to try other things. I just know what to stay away from lol .

Food was quick and hot! Mac and cheese is to die for with the perfect seasoning and amount of cheese. I also got a chocolate cake which was soft and fudgy.

1st time here, food wax amazing. Fresh yummy portions technically could feed 2. Bang for your dollar. Hubby and I got meals that come with 2 sides. I think that's the platter, and we split everything. We got chicken tenders (yummy), which were huge rice with onion rings (fat & crispy) and coleslaw (hubby ate this before I could try). I got baked chicken (Flavor!) and rice with green beans( fresh and you can taste the seasoning) & Mac n cheese( extra cheesy). Both came with Cornbread (not too sweet). Every morsel was perfectly seasoned. you can taste fresh ingredients. Amazing, I will be back soon ! I only wish they were open longer hours

After a few times of ordering I have to say this place is one of the few best places to eat out from in the local area. Place always looks, smells clean. Food is always good and closest to a home cooked meal. I recommend the baked chicken, yams, mac n cheese, chicken fingers and fried whiting. Desserts are delicious. Peach cobbler, strawberry shortcake and banana pudding are also recommended.

Listen Up, Listen Up.......I Ordered The Baked Chicken Plate With The Black Eyed Peas & Cabbage As The (2) Sides. I'm From New Orleans, So I Have a Taste For Some Good Food. Awwww Lawrt, Can't Forget The CornbreadIt Was Properly Prepared, Like Cake. Right Is Right & Wrong Is Wrong When You Enter Businesses. But I Have To Rightfully Let You All Know That, You Definitely Wouldn't Regret Sliding Through.......I Promise, Ms. Catrina Was Very Generous.......Not To Forget, You Will Receive a Nice Portion .....Imma Holla At Yall, I'm Sleepy Now Thanks Again Ms.Catrina

Me and my sister came here for the first time the other day looking for a good nearby soul food place . The staff were so friendly , the older lady at the register definitely took care of us ! As you can see the portions are big and this place is NOT expensive for the quality and portions! I will be back !! Thank you staff so much for making our first time so pleasant ! Oh and THE YAMS ARE SOOOO GOOD ! You have to ask for them !
